Rosemary Lynch

Rosemary Lynch is Director of Library and Student Services at University for the Creative Arts. She is responsible for the strategic direction, leadership, development and management of Library and Student Services, ensuring services and facilities support learning, teaching and research, enhance the student experience and contribute to the achievement of the University’s strategic plan. 

She has worked in academic and library services for nearly thirty years, starting as a graduate library trainee at the Roehampton Institute of HE in 1984 and working in further education in London, Wiltshire and Hampshire before joining the Surrey Institute of Art and Design in 2002, where I have held various posts, including Learning Resources Manager, Head of Academic Services and University Librarian. She has a particular interest in the relationship between individual and organisational performance and has served on a number of committees and working groups for bodies such as the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC), HEFCE, the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the M25 Consortium of Academic Libraries.
