SCONUL Future of the Systems Librarian CIG meeting

The next meeting of the Future of the Systems Librarian CIG, on 11 June, will discuss different ways of working, taking a closer look at how the role can sit outside the library and how this can work effectively. We'll also reflect on the importance and visibility of the role.

The meeting will take place on 17 September from 13.30 - 15.00hrs, and is open to all, whatever your role or level of expertise, and we welcome the sharing of different perspectives and practices.

The Future of the Systems Librarian CIG is a community of practice for those interested in exploring the role of the systems librarian in supporting the evolving needs of the library and looking at challenges around recruitment and succession planning as the systems themselves continue to evolve.
