The use and development of library space and the integration of the physical space with digital services are important considerations for member libraries. SCONUL will continue to share good practice on space planning through seminars; through our Library Design Awards and through contributions to the Designing Libraries website, which provides detailed information on planning new buildings or refurbishment.
