SCONUL Business Intelligence CIG meeting
The Business Intelligence Community of Interest Group’s final meeting of this year will focus on the SCONUL statistics for decision making. There will be presentations from two member institutions:
- Ian Chilvers, Library Systems Administrator at University of Reading, who will talk about Modelling the effect of student growth on study space within a university library.
- Davina Omar, Director of Library Services at University of West London, who will discuss how they use SCONUL statistics for benchmarking and the statistics they have for different purposes across the University.
The group will also be joined by co-chairs of the SCONUL Business Intelligence project group on benchmarking statistics: Sarah Thompson, Associate Director (Content and Open research) at University of York, and Ella Mitchell, Head of Library Services at Middlesex University who will give an update on the statistics review and answer any questions.
The meeting will take place on 14 October from 10.00 - 11.30hrs, and is open to all, whatever your role or level of expertise, and we welcome the sharing of different perspectives and practices.
