AI in the library supply chain webinar
SCONUL is holding a webinar around AI in the library supply chain on 18 September 2025 from 2pm – 3.30pm.
The SCONUL AI working group is hosting a webinar exploring the role of AI in the library supply chain including implications for service development and design, we will hear from the following speakers on their experiences:
- Dr Sandra Tury, Associate Director, Online Library Services at University of London, who will share their experience of implementing and using an AI chatbot at Senate House Library.
- Elly Cope, Head of Access and Acquisitions, and Alison Hazelaar, Access and Acquisitions Manager for Metadata and Discovery at University of Leeds, will talk about AI in relation to metadata including the offer from Ex Libris. They’ll share what they have tried, the progress that they have made and what they want to look at next.
