SCONUL AI coffee Morning
The SCONUL AI and information literacy CIG will be taking over our AI coffee morning in March. They will look at sharing guidance and good practice supporting AI and information literacy. They will also be joined by three speakers who will share the developments from their institutions:
- Róisín Guilfoyle, Research Support Librarian at Technological University Dublin, will talk about their work on AI and information literacy for researchers and academics.
- Patrick Keegan, Learning and Teaching Specialist Librarian at RSCI, will talk about some of the guidance and workshops they’ve been developing around prompts.
- Giada Zanella, Information Specialist at Aston University, will talk about how they have produced an e-learning pathway to support students and researchers with AI, information literacy and assessment in collaboration with colleagues in their Learning and Development Centre, the Centre for English Language and Communication, and student volunteers.
Our AI coffee morning will take place on 28 March, from 10am - 11.30am, please email sconul@sconul.ac.uk for registration details.
The AI coffee mornings allow library colleagues to come together, share experiences and ask questions so that we can explore these tools and techniques as a community. These are not expert forums but for sharing information and experiences as practitioners and they are open to all, whatever your role or level of expertise. Please bring your own coffee and biscuits!
