The future of the systems librarian

This report summarises the findings of a survey conducted by SCONUL , the professional association for academic and research libraries in the UK and Ireland, on the future of the systems librarian. This is a strategically important role for libraries which are heavily automated and digitised environments relying on a very wide range of technologies to support their students and academic colleagues.
