SCONUL Higher-level apprenticeship survey

The development of a Level 7 apprenticeship in the Library and Information sector represents an opportunity for new routes into the profession, especially for those in under-represented groups. The SCONUL Organisational Development Strategy group is undertaking project work in this area and scoping the landscape. We are looking to understand how the current Level 3 apprenticeship is being used in practice and how the Level 7 might be practicably used going forward and hear from libraries on how they are developing these posts. We would be grateful if you could fill in a short survey exploring the use cases for apprenticeships in libraries and the barriers to adoption. The survey is open to all, and you need not already be utilising apprenticeships to comment. The survey should take a maximum of 10 minutes to complete.
